Terms And Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made from Brilliant Beds ("the Company"). By purchasing any products, including beds, from Brilliant Beds, the Customer ("the Customer") agrees to be bound by these terms.
2. Comfort Exchange Policy
Brilliant Beds offers a 30-day Comfort Exchange Policy on all beds purchased. This policy allows the Customer to exchange their product if they are not satisfied with it, subject to the following conditions:
- Exchange Period: The Customer may request an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- Exchange Fee: An exchange fee of R1200 will apply for all exchanges.
- Price Difference:
- If the Customer selects a product of higher value, the Customer must pay the difference in price.
- If the Customer selects a product of lower value, no refund will be issued for the excess amount.
3. Cancellation of Invoice
If the Customer wishes to cancel their purchase after the invoice has been issued, the following conditions apply:
- Cancellation Fee: A 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the purchase price.
- Refund Processing: Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 14 business days.
4. Lay-By Agreement
Brilliant Beds offers an interest-free lay-by option for up to 6 months. The following terms apply:
- No Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for lay-by purchases. In the event of a cancellation, only an in-store voucher will be provided.
- Lay-By Cancellation: If the Customer cancels a lay-by, an in-store voucher will be issued for the amount paid, minus any applicable cancellation fees.
5. Special Orders
For special orders, the Customer is required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of placing the order. This deposit is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
6. Bank Charges on Cancellations
If a transaction is cancelled, a 5% bank charge will be applied to the total transaction amount, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
7. Ownership of Goods
Goods remain the property of Brilliant Beds until the full purchase price is paid.
8. Warranties and Guarantees
All warranties and guarantees are provided by the manufacturer and not by Brilliant Beds.
9. General Conditions
- Product Condition: For exchanges or returns, products must be in their original, unused condition, with packaging intact, and free from damage or wear.
- Consumer Rights: These terms and conditions do not affect the Customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
By proceeding with a purchase, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
